There are two major purposes of this paper One is to explore the expectations of the early childhood institutions' directors for novice teachers' content knowledge; one is to learn that the directors how to do the in-service training program for novice teachers. Using interview research to interview 24 directors. This paper has four findings are listed below 1. Novice teachers and early childhood institutions' director has the same recognization about novice teachers' insufficient abilities in practice teaching. 2. The directors think those abilities what the novice teachers need to be strengthen the teacher education institution has offered the about the same content. 3. Apprentice and group brain storm are the two main ways to let the novice teachers get involved into the teaching practice. 4. The directors expect the novice teachers could get involved into the teaching practice as soon as possible.
