利用批次實驗進行混合菌株去除廢水中鄰苯二甲酸二丁酯之研究

摘要


鄰苯二甲酸二丁酯(Di-n-butyl phthalate, DBP)是鄰苯二甲酸酯類化合物之一種,此類化合物為工業上大量添加於塑膠製程中之塑化劑,該類物質於台灣已被列為毒化物加以管制,且具有致癌性及致畸胎性,在國際上已被列為環境賀爾蒙。而該物質在製造、生產或使用過程可能釋放累積環境中,造成生態影響及環境傷害,故本研究希望從環境中獲得可去除DBP之混合菌株,亦即從工業區污水處理廠與水稻田中獲得污泥或土壤,將該污泥或土壤以DBP馴養後,利用批次實驗瞭解混合菌株對人工合成廢水與實際廢水(工業區廢水處理廠之進流水)中DBP之去除情形。結果顯示,經馴養之混合菌株於批次實驗中可利用人工合成廢水或實際廢水中1000 mg/l以下之DBP生長,且對廢水中1000 mg/l以下的DBP有90%以上之去除率。

Di-n-butyl phthalate (DBP), belonging to the family of phthalic acid esters, was the most frequently identified PAE in diverse environmental samples including groundwater, river water, drinking water, open ocean water, soil humates, lake sediments and marine sediments. Release of it into the environment during manufacture, use and disposal has caused serious concerns, because it is suspected to be mutagens, hepatotoxicagents, and carcinogens. It is also considered to be endocrine disrupter chemical. Thus, this investigation goal is to remove DBP using biological method, as well as to understand the ability of mixed strains, which are acclimated to DBP, for treating different initial DBP concentrations from synthetic wastewater and actual industrial wastewater in the batch reactor. The results indicated that the acclimated mixed strains could utilize DBP for growth, when the initial DBP concentration was lower than 1000 mg/l in both wastewaters. Besides, the DBP removal efficiency could reach 90% in the batch reactor.
