種子教師參與性別平等教育的經驗與行動:創新擴散觀點

Experiences and Actions of Seed Teachers Participating in Gender Equity Education: An Innovation Diffusion Perspective

摘要


本研究以Rogers創新擴散觀點,分析種子教師在中學推動性別平等教育的經驗與行動。本研究採質性研究方法,訪談三位性別平等教育種子教師與三位參與觀察者,以創新擴散理論為資料分析架構,以飽和理論進行資料蒐集,以主題內容分析法分析資料。本研究發現促進種子教師對性別平等教育的擴散因素包括:人際賦能與女性情誼、個人成長與學習增能、推動成就與發揮影響、成為人生價值與信念;而阻礙種子教師對性別平等教育的擴散因素包括:主管的消極與壓迫、教師同儕的不認同、非主流的邊緣經驗。本文提出「關係」和「連結」是創新擴散的成功因素,「壓迫」和「邊緣」是創新擴散的阻礙因素,並提出發展性別平等教育教師專業社群之建議。

This study applied Rogers' theory of innovation diffusion theory to explore the experience and action of Gender Equity Education Seed Teachers in the process of diffusion promotion. We conducted a qualitative research method, three Gender Equity Seed Teachers and three observed participants, were interviewed for eliciting their first-hand information and reflection during the movement of Gender Equity Education in Taiwan. A theme content analysis was analyzed the interviewee's information. The results revealed that diffusion factors of Seed Teachers were personal growth, interpersonal empowerment, female friendship, promoting achievements, exerting influence, becoming life-long values and beliefs. This article proposes that "relationships" and "connections" are successful factors for the diffusion of innovation, "oppression" and "marginal" are obstacles to the diffusion of innovations, and providing the development of professional community for gender equity education are addressed.
