荼對人體健康的機能

The Function of Tea in Human Health

摘要


茶源於中國。飲茶風尚遍及全球,茶成為世界三大飲料之一。這既因為茶是社會精神文明的體現,還因為茶既是一種營養型食品和風味型食品,又是一種生體調節型的食品。本文試圖從食品結構、營養補充、生體調節和疾病預防等四個方面討論茶葉對人體健康的機能。古語云:「茶為萬病之藥」。作者從茶具有開發智慧、預防衰老、提高免疫力、調節身心、改善腸道細菌結構和消臭解毒等六個方面的功效來說明茶的生體調節功能,並記述了茶在降血壓、預防冠心病、降脂減肥、防治動脈粥樣硬化、降血糖、防治糖尿病、防齲、殺菌抗病毒、抗癌抗突變等方面對人體的保健功效。

Tea originated in China. The custom of tea-drinking spread all over the world. Tea become one of the three major beverages in the world. This is not only because tea is the expression of a society's culture and civilization but also because tea is generally recognized as a kind of food with the function of nutrition-provision, flavor-regulation and health-protection. The function of tea on human health is heave discussed from the aspects of food-structure, nutrition-value, health-regulation and disorder-prevention. Ancient Chinese said that "Tea is a medicine for various diseases." The function of tea in the regulation of human health is discribed in the following six aspects: development of intelligence, prevention sensiity, as a boost to the immunity system, regulation of physical and menta health, improvement of intestinal microflora, deodorant for halotosis and detoxication in radiation damage. Besides, effects of human health-protection are described in the following aspects: prevention of hypertension, depression, coronary heart disease, also in lipid-depression and body weigh t-loss prevention of artherosclerosis, blood- sugar depressing, antidiabeties, prevention of tooth decay, germicidial and anti-viral activity, anticarcinogenic and antimutagenic activity etc.
