This article explores how the military body forming after the Second Chinese Civil War formed the military theatre. In addition, it tries to understand the physical autonomy of members involved with military theatre through examining the works of four playwrights, Li Man-Kuei, Yao Yi-Wei, Wu Xiao-Jiang and Wang Mo-Lin. Furthermore, it explains how the military body of the martial law era, of the time after martial law being lifted and of the period in between influenced to military theatre by comparing the four above-mentioned playrights' works with military cadets' works. Finally, the author tries to recognize how the military body and military theatre responds to ever-changing era through this research.
