在全球化的競爭環境下,各行各業均講求競爭力,國內大學校院面對高等教育環境變遷,也開始強調提升競爭力;行政與教學是學校運作的兩大並行系統,唯有行政體系發揮效率與效能,支援教學與研究目標的達成,才能推動學校成長,並形成學校競爭力。本研究提出行政人員工作競爭力之概念,並以自我效能為變項,進行台灣地區大學校院行政人員之實徵調查與分析探討,共發出1,110份問卷,回收1,012有效問卷。本研究調查結果發現:男性、年齡較高、已婚、服務年資愈長、學術單位、擔任主管職務的大學校院行政人員,對自我效能的知覺較高,在工作競爭力的表現也相對較好;本研究並依據結果分析,分別從行政人員個人以及大學校院等兩方面,提出有助提升大學行政人員工作競爭力之具體建議。
In the era of globalization, trades and professions stress competitiveness; universities in Taiwan have also begun to emphasize on improving it. School administration has the same importance as the teaching system, which impacts the outcome of school education. Efficient administration can promote school competitiveness. This study proposes a concept of work competitiveness of administrative university staff. Self-efficiency and work competitiveness are the variables in this study. Subjects were sampled from universities in Taiwan. There were 30 sample universities and 1,110 sample administrative staff in total. Additionally, there were 1,061 questionnaires received and 1,012 are effective. The result of the study shows: Male, elder, married, senior, academic department staffs and executive officials possess higher self-efficacy consciousness and work competitiveness. According to the findings, the study comes up with relative concrete suggestions to promote universities'administrative staffs'competitiveness
