學生必須在教師的教導下才能適性發展,若教師工作滿意度較低,將無法發揮教學效能。對於工作滿意度所做的研究很多,以台東縣國中教師為對象的研究則是難得一見。本研究根據2005年進行調查的「台東縣教育長期研究資料庫」之國中教師樣本資料進行分析,分析方法主要是路徑分析。重要發現如下:1.台東縣國中教師在五等測量的工作滿意度平均為3.48,介於「還算滿意」與「滿意」之間,可說屬於中上程度。2.教師教學內控信念愈高,工作滿意度愈高;校長領導風格愈是無效式的,教師工作滿意度愈低;在教師間氣氛中,教師有愈高的社會支持,工作滿意度愈高。其中以社會支持對教師工作滿意度的影響力最大。3.原住民教師工作滿意度比漢人高,是因為教學內控信念較高。
If students don't be taught by teachers, they could not develop appropriately. Teachers have lower teaching effectiveness if they have lower job satisfaction. There are many researches exploring teachers' job satisfaction; however, researches rarely explore junior high school teachers' job satisfaction in Taitung. Therefore, the sample of this research is based on junior high school teacher in Taitung from "Taitung Educational Panel Survey" conducted in 2005. The main method of this research is path analysis. The findings of this research are as follows: 1. Based on the five-point scale of teachers' job satisfaction, the average satisfaction is 3.48 as middle-up level. 2. Higher teaching internal locus of control will lead to higher teachers' job satisfaction. More inefficient principals' leadership style will lead to lower teachers' job satisfaction. In terms of school climate, more social support will lead to higher teachers' job satisfaction. Among these factors, social support is the greatest effect on teachers' job satisfaction. 3. Aboriginal teachers' job satisfaction is higher than that of the Han teachers, because aboriginal teachers have greater teaching internal locus of control.
