摘要
隨著乳癌治療的發展，乳癌病人的存活率及時間上升。當病人的生命不再受到疾病的威脅，生活品質就成為重要的議題。乳房除了分泌乳汁哺乳的功能外，同時是一個女性的象徵。失去乳房對女性的影響遠大過於只是失去一個器官。乳房重建手術利用手術的方式再造女性的乳房外觀，提供乳癌病人心理上、社會生活上、情緒上及功能上的改善。乳房重建的時機可以是立即性或是延遲性，重建的方式包括以乳房植入物為主或是以自體組織為主，根據病人的癌症狀況、所需治療、生活型態、整體健康狀況、經濟狀況、家庭照護支援等選擇。應該要在病人接受治療的早期教育病人關於乳房重建的資訊，同時以多專科團隊的評估，配合癌症的治療，做出最適合病人的治療選擇。
