摘要


儘管台灣原住民族沒有創造文字系統,來記錄生活經驗與心思波動,不過卻用各類形式來嘗試摹寫自然天地的遞嬗,以及人類社會的各種接觸。譬如布農族獨有的木板曆畫,或是排灣族的雕刻與琉璃、陶壺製作,以及各族因應生活需求而製作的獵具、漁具、農具與形製色彩千變萬化的服飾等,形成一個複雜多樣的工藝技術整體系統。隨著環境的變動,原住民族的文化與藝術產生形式與內涵上的變化,那是有機生命企求存續的能量釋放與極力追索。而原住民神話也伴隨著原住民族藝術的實踐,不停地蔓延。

Taiwan indigenous people don't create alphabetical system to record, but they record things around via other different ways. The Bununs' board paintings, and Peiwans' carving, Liuli, and clay pots are such examples. Different colorful clothes, hunting equipment, fishing equipment, and farm implements constitute a complex and various crafts system. With the change of the environment, the culture and art of the indigenous changed. It shows indigenous myth keeps extending via the practice of indigenous art.
