摘要

本文從泰雅族的傳統領域概念著手，藉由社會－生態系統的理論視角，探究泰雅傳統文化中如何累積在地生態知識，以及如何促使泰雅族在自然資源使用上達到永續性，進而繁衍與拓遷至如今相當廣大的傳統領域分佈範圍。此外，本文更試圖透過泰雅文化的理解，進一部與共有地資源理論進行對話，期盼能以在此一客觀理論架構，作為政府各部門推動自然資源共管機制的知識基礎。

Starting with the idea of Tayal traditional territories and employing the approach of socio-ecological theories, we endeavor to explore how indigenous ecological knowledge has been accumulated in Tayal culture, and how its applications to sustainable uses of natural resources have been extended to a wide range of Tayal traditional territories. Further, we manage to dialogue with the common-pool resources theory from this Tayal perspective and make afforest to construct a theoretical framework so that the various governmental agencies may be better equipped with fundamental knowledge for conducting co-management.
