The Illegal Extension Duration of Asia Cement Corporation: Administration Not According to Law

The Investigation Report of the Control Yuan pointed out that the illegality of the extension duration of Asia Cement. It also highlights issues failure to such as environmentally sensitive areas, administrative discretion, inaccuracy of the current mining law, and Indigenous Peoples' right to consult and obtain consent. The author believe that the DPP government must take a more active role in this case.
