現今全球暖化議題日益發燒,保護地球資源成為當前社會的重要課題,以肩負社會教育功能為使命的博物館,必須對此有所回應和積極作為。綠博物館已經成為現今博物館營運發展之趨勢,也是博物館對員工、社會和整體環境體現其社會責任的具體作為,不僅有助提昇博物館自身形象,其產品及服務還能獲得社會大眾更大的認同和支持。本研究以國立科學工藝博物館為例,探討該館根據現階段之「綠博物館」共同願景,採用平衡計分卡理論-財務、顧客、內部流程和學習與成長等四大面向,提出整體館務營運規劃及執行策略,目前已研擬完成,並持續推動中。本研究針對目前執行現況,提出綜合看法和建議,未來成效則有待驗證。
Owing to global warming, protection of the earth's resources has become an important social issue. Having social education function, the museum must make quick responses and take positive actions. The perception of "green museum" is to fulfill the museum's social responsibilities not only to improve its image but also to gain greater recognition and then get supports from the public by its products and services. "Green museum" has become a current trend in museum management, which has also aroused great interest and response from professional groups. The study takes the National Science and Technology Museum as an example to explore the process of its operation to achieve the vision of "green museum" using the Balanced Scorecard method for measurement. Although the results can only be verified in the future, some suggestions are put forward according to the implementation at present stage.
