KARYOTYPE OF THE LONG-TAILED SKINK, MABUYA LONGICAUDATA (SCINCIDAE: LACERTILIA), FROM TAIWAN
台灣長尾南蜥核型之研究
摘要
The karyotype of M. longicaudata consists of 2n=28 chromosomes, forming three size groups. The largest and second largest size groups are composed of four and three pairs of metacentric chromosomes, respectively. On the other hand, the smallest size group consists of seven pair s that are all telocentric in shape. The fundamental number (NF) equals 42.
