In this article the author tries to make a point that "Creation and Providence of God" is the main thread of the narration in the Bible, while the theme that Sages set up their (religious, ethical and political) institutions on the basis of divine ordinance implies the primary motif of the Confucian interpretation to their classic "the Book of Changes", and that the Occidental Christian culture takes the relationship between God and people as axes, while Chinese traditional culture takes the relationship between Heaven and people as kernel. According to this viewpoint, the author tries to generalize basic contents of God's Creation and Providence in the Christian faith, and then to compare them with the correlative thoughts in the Chinese tradition.
