漢語基督教神學的類型學思考

A Typological Consideration of Sino-Christian Theology

並列摘要

The academic study of Christianity has been growing rapidly in the university system of Mainland China since 1980s. The discourses produced are circulated widely among and have been influencing the scholars of the social and human sciences. However, as the university system and the institutional churches are completely separated in Mainland China and the former circle does not favour a confessional discourse, extensive discussions developed concerning the nature of these theological discourse. Through appropriating Hans W. Frei's typological analysis of modem theology, this essay aims at joining the ongoing discussion on the approach of Sino-Christian theology, and articulating some significant points which participating scholars should consider. This essay argues that on the one hand Sino-Christian theology should consider starting with a stance inclined to the confessional pole for the sake of clearly articulating the particularity of Christian discourse. But on the other hand ad hoc correlation with other disciplines must be introduced into the constructing process in order to produce a comprehensible public discourse. This approach may contribute to the communication between Christian theology with other disciplines and may let the Chinese academia have a better understanding of the intellectual resource of (Western) modernization.
