從利瑪竇的《論耶穌會和天主教之進入中國》到金尼閣的《論天主教在中國的擴張》－兼論龍華民與早期在華耶穌會的傳教策略
From Della entrata della Compagnia di Gjesù e Christianità nella Cina to De Christiana Expeditione apud Sinas suscepta ab Societate lesu: A Study on Niccolò Longobardo and the Policy of Jesuit Mission in Earlier Modern China

In 1615, on his trip to Europe, Flemish Jesuit Nicolas Trigault translated the Della entrata della Compagnia di Giesu e Christianita nella Cina of Matteo Ricci into Latin, in title De Christiana Expeditione apud Sinas suscep ta ab Societate Iesu. In this Latin version, he reedited some parts of the original manuscript, by adding, deleting and changing both text and textual structure. This article reconstructs the making of the Latin version, including its origin and the process of the translation, by investigating into the archives in the Archivum Romanum Societatis Iesu. And finally, this article concludes that the Latin version must be attributed to Niccolo Longobardo's intention to change Matteo Ricci's policy of Christian expedition in China, which was considered too prudent and too negative.
