論轉注字之成因及其形成先後

摘要

「轉注」之法，歷來眾說紛紜，爭論不斷，推究其因，乃在於許書中定義過於簡約，舉例又未加說明，以致後人解讀產生歧義。章太炎論轉注，從語言角度入手，謂語音轉變，故更制一字，視轉注為造字之法，已得轉注之要義。魯實先則進一步兼談語音、語義二耑之轉移，故另造新字以注之。章、魯二氏所談之轉注，皆言及文字之孳乳。既言孳乳，必有先後，故本文撰述之目的，即在探求轉注字之成因及其先後次第。

The method of zhuan-zhu is controversial all the time. The reason is the definition of xu-shu is too contracted and there is no explanation in these examples. This makes the descendant generated different interpretations. Zhang Tai-Yan commented zhuan-zhu by studying its language. He made another words by changing the pronunciation. So the zhuan-zhu is the method to generate new words. Lu Shi-Xian studied further the transition of pronunciation and its meanings. He generated new words and annotated them. Zhang’s and Lu’s survey are talking about the generation of characters. The generation of characters exist the priority. The goal of this article is to explore the formation of zhuan-zhu-zi and its priority.
