主題、策略與過程－試論曹文軒成長三部曲對「成長小說」的美學探求

本文認為，作為從少年小說文體自覺之初介入該領域創作的作家，曹文軒與新時期少年小說的整體進程經歷了由合而分的演變。從早期「未有個性之前－小人物與時代話題」到探索中期「精彩的藝術突圍－塑造民族未來性格」折射出了中國少年小說作家在吸收成人文學基礎上，試圖探求少年小說獨特作為的努力；此時的曹文軒是創造少年小說景觀和文學內在精神的旗手與主力軍。九○年代中後期，曹文軒採取了「站出」姿態，疏離兒童本位的少年小說創作主潮，書寫個人成長體驗，主張追隨永恒。這種「站出」的意義在於，借助「成長小說」命名及其實踐，強化了少年小說的文學屬性，提升了少年小說的藝術品格；另外，重申文學的現實關懷，倡揚小說的審美價值，又使曹文軒的意義指向了九○年代大文學的整體格局。本文結尾指出，如何在追隨永恒與感動當下之間建立平衡，這不僅是擺在曹文軒面前的藝術難題，也是整個兒童文學超越自我的永恒命題。

From early 1980's to late 1980's, Wen-Shuang Tsao was an important member of the writers who created the sight and spirit of the juvenile novels. Mr. Taso and many other modern writers aimed at the sculpturing the character of the next generation. Then, he departed from the main creating stream which is based on the children-oriented opinion, expressing his own personal recognition in puberty and provoking to persue the permanence. The first significantion of Mr. Tsao, by giving the name of ＂growing novel＂ and also practicing of it, to some extent, is that he strengthened the literature quality of the juvenile novel and up the character of the juvenile literature. Furthermore, redeclaring the realistic care of literature and stressing the aesthetic value of modern novels, Mr. Tsao made indifference to the whole structure of the 1990's literature. At the end of this paper, the auther want to remind that, how to keep the balance of the persuing of the permanence and inspiring of the present readers will be the most critical problem of Mr. Tsao. However, it will be the permanent enigma of the whole children's literature, too.
