The article is a disquisition presented at the ＂First China Children's Reading Education Forum and Children's Native Language Reading Education Seminar＂. And the purpose is to discuss the history of children's reading in Taiwan. The six parts of this article are preface, energy from arousal, intervention from government, stride forward in 2000, principles of children's reading, and conclusion. There is also a list of related books attached with this article, for people who want to make further study.
