摘要

「禮物」書寫是〈楊太真外傳〉的重要特徵，與小說所繼承的眾多前文本相關。本文嘗試借用物質文化研究的方法和視角，分析「禮物」在其中藉由交換、象徵和想像所產生的意義，來理解改寫所保留「物」的原因和作者樂史的「作意」。「物」的交換關係裡勾勒出贈與與回報義務失衡，其復現建構出禮物的多重含義，而「物」被他者觀看之視角亦暗示楊貴妃在後世的評價和想像。作者藉由「禮物」書寫表現對李楊的感情的同情，但仍強調禮物作為國家財富的價值，關係國運盛衰，隱含對玄宗因「私慾」誤國的批判。

The gifts in Yang Tai-Zhen Legend, which came from more than 20 pre-texts, become an important narrative feature. In this essay, I attempt to analyze why the author Le-shi retained these gifts and his intention in rewriting by object study. Gifts are not only previous things, but also show unbalanced duty between three characters' exchange. On the other hand, gifts reappeared to show complex symbols and values after the death of Yang Gui-Fei. Moreover, it implied the evaluation and imagination in Yang Gui-Fei.
