Hydroforming has been developed over many years. In recent years, there are three majordirections in the applications of hydroforming; which are improved strength, reduced cost and miniaturization of product. Hydroforming becomes more widely used since this topic drew great attention to industrial and academic researchers. Tube hydroforming is frequently employed in bicycle frames manufacturing. The MIRDC played an important role in the technology development of tube hydroforming in Taiwan. This paper presents the latest research of MIRDC in tube hydroforming techniques.
