摘要

全球製造業受到美中貿易戰、COVID-19肺炎與極端氣候頻傳影響，正面臨提高產業韌性、推動數位轉型及加速達到淨零排放等大趨勢。面對這些大趨勢，機械產業需要藉由智慧機械與智慧製造應用方案，協助下游應用產業持續創造價值，滿足大趨勢衍生的各種需求。智慧機械應用可協助製造企業持續提升設備效能、增加設備可用性，以及實現設備及服務商業模式。臺灣機械產業也可透過發展智慧機械與相關智慧製造應用方案，協助打破工具機產品價格天花板，提高廠商獲利率與附加價值；以及提升國產半導體生產設備比重，進一步鞏固半導體產業競爭力。

Due to the impact of US-China trade war, COVID-19 pneumonia and extreme weather, global manufacturing industry is facing megatrends such as improving industrial resilience, promoting digital transformation, and achieving net zero emissions. To face up to these megatrends, machinery industry needs to use smart machinery and smart manufacturing solutions to help the downstream continue to create values and meet various needs derived from the megatrends. The applications of smart machinery can help manufacturers continue to improve efficiency, increase availability, and realize service business models of equipment. Taiwan machinery industry can also break the price limitation of machine tools through developing smart machinery and smart manufacturing solutions. Thus, the domestic manufactures increase not only their profitability and added-value products, but also the market share in semiconductor production equipment, allowing to further consolidate the competitiveness of the semiconductor industry in Taiwan.
