This research explores the factors affecting taekwondo roundhouse kick performance through a systematic literature review, and uses the PubMed database to review the systematic literature by using Boolean algebra search. The searched documents are oriented to basic capabilities aspect and technique aspect. We integrate the themes and explore the factors that affect the performance of roundhouse kick, including the kinematics of sports biomechanics, electromyography, stand pose, and stand distance to identify the factors that affect the athlete to be excellent. These factors include reaction time, stance angle, execution distance, and the height of target. However, the factors that affect kicking are quite diverse. It is suggested that the coaches can train the player's reaction time, joint mobility, etc., and further strengthen the special muscle strength training and technical training.
