Memorizing is the most common way to learning history, but learning is not just memorizing. Understanding is an important part of learning. This study which is based on Discovery Learning focuses on Confucian Analects and produces a jigsaw puzzle that integrates with an AR system of learning history. The purpose of this study is to know if the learners can truly understand the meaning of Confucian Analects and improve the motivation of learning by reducing the contents that needs to memorize after using the system. The findings reveal the high learners' satisfaction of the system, and most of the learner indicates that the system can help understanding the meaning of Confucian Analects.
