物聯網環境之預主動式服務規劃

摘要


近年來,服務組合(Service Composition)已經被視為在物聯網(Internet of Things 或 IoT)環境中相當重要的一個議題,在物聯網環境的智慧家庭系統中,這類型的系統最終目標即為選擇、組合並提供最適合使用者的服務給使用者。在物聯網智慧家庭環境下,人的需求與環境設置都會隨時間改變,因此智慧家庭系統必須能夠預測與規劃情境以因應環境多變的需求,該需求也是先前研究所忽略的。為達成此一目的,本研究將情境感知(Context Awareness)與系統重構(System Reconfiguration)納入考量。此外,傳統的服務提供給使用者的方式都是反應式(Responsive),即使用者需要服務的當下,系統可以立即提供。但這樣的服務模式對那些需要時間預作準備的設備將發生服務提供上的延遲,不但便利性不足,也常常無法達到使用者的期望。故本研究基於物聯網的特質進一步提出預主動(Proactive)服務提供,即為透過推論使用者當下情境後,藉此推知使用者接下來可能的活動情境,藉此預先規劃(Planning)與準備即將需要使用的元件。從實驗的情境模擬,本研究也初步證明此系統的可行性。

In recent year, service composition has been considered an important issue in Internet of Things (IoT) environments. In an IoT-enabled smart home environment, one of its goals is to select, compose, and provide the most suitable service to its users. In such an environment, human needs and environment configuration will change over time. Therefore, an IoT enabled smart home system should predict and plan to adapt the changing needs both from its users and environment. Such concerns are often ignored by prior studies. To address the issues, this study additionally takes context awareness and system reconfiguration into consideration. In addition, the traditional way to provide services to users is responsive, which means the services can be provided without any tardiness. This kind of way to provide services is not convenient for those devices needing more times to prepare beforehand. Due to this reason, this paper further considers proactive services based on the inferred current and predictive user contexts, by which the system can let the associated to prepare in advance. The way, we can achieve the proactive services effectively, minimizing user intervention and maximizing the benefits of Internet of Things. In the experiment, the simulation results have shown the feasibility of the proposed approach.
