The ritual music is a genre of music performed in Kaohsiung's temples. It was called "Shi San Yin" or "Shi Quan Qiang" in ancient times and now is listed as a traditional folk music preserved by Taiwan's Cultural Assets Bureau under the Ministry of Culture. It is currently affiliated to the "Fu-luan belief" and played in celebration of the gods' birthdays as well as in other religious gatherings.
