Measuring an Organizational Ability of Developing the Platform Business Model

摘要


在競爭的市場環境中,平台策略已成創造顧客價值的重要策略,企業可藉由建立與營運平台,獲得高成長與競爭優勢。關於平台策略的研究,多數為概念性與個案研究,缺乏相關量表,乃至量化研究仍有所不足。本研究試圖發展一個平台導向的量表。首先,整合過去對於平台策略與經營之探討,確認平台導向的組成構面,根據其概念範疇發展平台導向衡量量表。本研究取得217個樣本,利用探索性因素分析檢視各構念之問項的適切性,並以驗證性因素分析進行信、效度的驗證。本量表具有良好的信度與收斂效度,分量表亦具有良好的效標關聯效度。本量表的完成,不僅有利於後續量化研究之進行,也可提供實務界作為評估企業平台導向程度的診斷工具。

This research attempts to develop a platform orientation scale. Reviewed and integrated discussions of platform strategy and business model in literature, and concluded the scale's four composition dimensions. then developed measurement question items based on the dimensions. Applied questionnaires to obtain 217 valid samples and conducted the exploratory factor analysis to show the sampling adequacy of the scale and the confirmative factor analysis to verify the reliability and validity of the scale. The scale reveals good reliability、convergent validity and criterion-related validity. Can provide a diagnostic tool for the practitioners to assess organizational ability to develop a platform business model.
