This issue features a dialogue with Dr. Shyam Sundar, an expert on human-computer interaction who has developed several theories that depict how interface features affect user psychology. He shares how his interdisciplinary background has helped shape his development in academia and his insights on how this field has developed in recent years. This issue also includes six research articles, each examining an interesting topic. Two articles delve into narratives. Xin and Chang's article explores how shared narratives on social media empower users and help construct their collective memory, and Wang's study demonstrates the ineffectiveness of China's global communication strategies from the insights of its target audience. Two articles investigate social movements in Hong Kong. Zhong and Zhou's study explores the visibility of media discourse opportunities between 2002 and 2019. Huang and Fu's survey study examines how exposure to coverage of the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill movement in Hong Kong affected Taiwanese risk perceptions of the ＂One-China, Two-systems＂ proposal. The other two articles address health and environmental issues. Z. Li's study investigates how exposure to online news increases knowledge and encourages pro-environmental behaviors, while Y. Li's article delves into social support which cancer patients acquire from using new ICT. Together, the insightful dialogue and research articles will make this issue inspiring for readers.
