星雲大師人間佛教思想與太虛大師人間佛教思想比較研究

摘要

在人間佛教的歷史上，太虛大師和星雲大師聲望最為卓著。他們都是偉大的佛教思想家，也是具有卓越實踐能力的佛教活動家。本文在中國革命和佛教革命的宏觀視野中，系統敘述了兩位大師的人間佛教思想，並從多個方面分析了其中的異同。文章認為，在民國佛教的譜系中，太虛大師的人間佛教思想與星雲大師人間佛教思想其實是一脈相承的，在內在精神與本質上是完全一致的，也都體現了中國革命的精神和中華民族的自由精神。

Master Taixu and Venerable Master Hsing Yun are the two most prominent masters in the history of Humanistic Buddhism. Both are considered to be Buddhism's great thinkers as well as activists with outstanding abilities of actual practice. Through an outlook of the Chinese revolution and Buddhist revolution, an analysis of the similarities and differences between these two masters's thinking on Humanistic Buddhism is given in this paper. During the Republic of China period in Buddhist history, Master Taixu's thoughts on Humanistic Buddhism seem to share the same lineage, essence, and spirit as those of Venerable Master Hsing Yun. Furthermore, both of them also exhibit the spirits of the Chinese revolution and freedom for the Chinese people.
