潛在成長模式在資優教育上的應用

The Analysis Methods of Latent Growth Curve Model and its Application in Gifted Education Practices

摘要


本文闡述潛在成長模式(latent growth curve model,簡稱LGM)之基本原理、路徑圖及在資優教育實務上的應用。首先,說明LGM模式中的基本特性,接著說明如何建構LGM及路徑圖的應用,勾勒出LGM在資優教育上的應用。最後提出潛在成長模式對實務資優教學的幫助。另外,研究者針對LGM在資優教育研究上的應用提出下以觀點:(一)運用縱貫研究方法與原先的橫斷研究設計結合,以窺資優生的成長全貌。(二)尋找影響資優生成長速率的條件。(三)瞭解資優教育政策對資優生的影響。(四)協助教師瞭解資優生的學習成效,修正教材教法。

This paper describes the basic principles, the calculation method, the path graph, the analysis methods of latent growth curve model (LGM) and its application in gifted education practices. First, we state the basic features of LGM model, including basic assumptions, formulas and construct. Then we explains how to conduct LGM and application of the path graph, in order to sketch out LGM application in gifted education. At last, we provide suggestions of LGM to gifted education on practical and its benefits. In addition, we also make some points of LGM application in gifted education: (1) to explore the entire growth of gifted students by combining longitudinal study and cross-sectional study. (2) to find the conditions and factors of effecting the growing rate of gifted students. (3) to systematically understand the long term effects on gifted students due to gifted education. (4) to help teachers understand their teaching effectiveness and the learning outcomes of gifted students, in order to correct the teaching materials and methods.
