Since 1978, the foreign strategy proposed by Chinese leaders were aimed to create an advantageous situation to establish the comprehensive national power of China. However, what China really needs is the strategic thinking of "New Great Power Relationship" proposed by Chinese president Xi Jingpin. Once this concept has been realized, China can not only be free from the restraints of the rise of great power, but also trigger the re-establishment of current balance of power. This article is focused on current key factors and strategic transformation between the US and China, and explores the impacts of "New Great Power Relationship" on the change of global power structure.
