摘要


煙甲蟲(Lasioderma serricorne(Fabricius))以中筋麵粉添加台糖酵母粉10%為飼料,飼養在27-30℃之生長箱中。卵、幼蟲、蛹及成蟲均在核能研究所的加馬照射廠完成照射工作。照射劑量範圍為10~400 Gy。卵經40 Gy照射,能抑制發育為成蟲。幼蟲經50 Gy照射,發育受到抑制。成蟲的不育劑量為60 Gy。

The cigarette beetle, Lasioderma serricorne (Fabricius), was reared on flour mixed with 5% yeast in a growth chamber at 27-30℃. Eggs, larvae, pupae, and adults were exposed to gamma radiation from the Institute of Nuclear Energy Research's mega curie Co-60 irradiation plant. Dosages ranged from 10 to 400 Gy. A dose of 40 Gy prevented eggs from developing to the adult stage. A dose of 50 Gy was required to prevent larvae from developing. Doses above 60 Gy appeared to produce a sterilizing effect on adults.
