Note on the Hermit Crabs of the Genus Paguristes (Crustacea, Decapoda, Diogenidae) from Taiwan

摘要

Three species of the hermit crabs belonging to the genus Paguristes occuring around the waters of Taiwan are reported. They are Paguristes acanthomerus Ortmann, 1892, P. kagoshimensis Ortmann, 1892 and P. palythophilus Ortmann, 1892. They could be distinguished from one another by their different arrangement of granules on the lateral surface of the movable finger.
