摘要

Research purposes: Explore the current status of health literacy and health outcomes in Taiwan. Research methods: This study adopts descriptive research and adopts convenient sampling method. The whole mother is the medical staff of a certain regional and regional hospital in southern Taiwan. The research tools are basic information, Rapid estimate of adult literacy in medicine (REALM), Test of functional Health literacy in adult (TOFHLA) and other questionnaires were collected through self-answering or topic-by-topic interviews to understand the relationship between aging health and health outcomes, and descriptive data analysis using SPSS 22.0 Chinese version. Research result: The number of participants in this study was 110. The results showed that: (1) The low health literacy of ageing was positively correlated with health outcomes. (2) The higher the health literacy score of the old age is positively correlated with the written health literacy in reading and arithmetic understanding in the (REALM) scale. (3) The higher the health literacy score of the old age and the higher the reading comprehension in the (TOFHLA) scale and the higher the arithmetic ability score. (4) The health literacy of aging is positively correlated with reading ability, the risk of health literacy and hospitalization is negatively correlated, and the number of health literacy and medical treatment of old age is not significantly different. (5) There is no significant difference in gender and health outcome rates between older women and seniors. Conclusion and suggestions: It is necessary to understand the health literacy of aging, and gradually spend more time evaluating the patient's health literacy skills, applying vernacular text instead of medical nouns, using pictures to enhance understanding and review, not giving too much information for each contact, using repeated instructions To allow patients to reply to teaching, to confirm their understanding, respect, care, and sensitivity to enable patients to be willing to take responsibility for self-care. It is recommended to use other medical environments as a way to adjust medical staff's concerns to the emotional needs of low-quality patients. Communicate comfortably and effectively.
