圣经文学在中国现代文学发展中有着非常独特的意义，尤其是在20世纪初的＂新文化运动＂和20世纪末“中国新时期＂文学发展中有其参与和贡献。圣经文学在中国社会转型时期及其文化发展高潮时的这种积极亮相，引起了人们的关注和询问。为此，有必要深入探究圣经文学在20世纪来临和终结这两大关键时期在中国的存在、影响及其思想文化意义，分析其在中国文学发展高潮时的作用和定位。通过中国圣经文学的发展及影响，我们也可找出中国当代文学与世界文学的关系及关联。

Biblical literature has very unique significance in the development of contemporary Chinese literature. Especially, it has its participation and contribution to the development of ＂New Cultural Movement＂ at the beginning of the 20^(th) century and the literature in ＂the Chinese New Period＂ by the end of the 20^(th) century. Such active appearance of Biblical literature in the period of social transformation and at the high tide of cultural development in China attracts of course the attention and the inquiry of the populace. So, it's necessary to explore the existence, influence and cultural significance of Biblical literature in these two crucial periods of China by the coming and ending of the 20^(th) century, and to analyze further its function and position at the high tide of Chinese literature development. Through the development and influence of Biblical literature in China, we can also find the relation and connection between contemporary Chinese and world literature.
