The Jewish Revolt against Rome (66-70 CE) and the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 CE, this is the most decisive event in the history of Judaism and Christianity. This article will discuss its causes, implications and the historical facts surrounding it, and will examining the ideology and leadership of the revolt, finally is the interpretation from the perspective of Taiwan: this is not historical accident, but an unavoidable conflict between Empire and the Margin.
