臺灣檔案描述內容標準建構芻議

摘要

檔案內容描述是檔案管理的基礎工作，對於檔案的內容進行描述工作，以建立檔案的智能控制，並促使已建檔的檔案資訊便於使用者檢索與使用。檔案界的共通性描述規則，可供依循，以產生一致性的檔案紀錄，有助於檔案界進行資源分享。本文首先探討國內檔案機構描述規範使用現況。其次，以檔案描述內容標準（Describing Archives：A Content Standard，簡稱DACS）做為檔案描述標準的建構基礎，並進而提出我國檔案描述標準建議的草案。

Archival content description is the fundamental process of archives management. The content description makes archives be under intellectual control that can benefit users for easy access. A content description standard is could be followed by the archival communities. Therefore, the records can be created and shared in the same standard by the archival communities. This paper mainly discusses what the archival description standards are suitable for archival institutions in Taiwan. Furthermore, a draft of archival description standard for Taiwan of which the structure of archival description standard is proposed based on DACS (Describing Archives: A Content Standard).
