臺灣地區檔案典藏機構數位化作業現況分析

摘要

檔案記錄了國家歷史發展的軌跡，也是當代政府機構知識累積的成果。檔案數位化讓過去有限使用的檔案文獻能加速資訊傳播，大幅提昇了檔案的應用價值。本文主要介紹臺灣地區重要檔案典藏機構之數位化作業概況，分析檔案管理局、國立故宮博物院、中央研究院、國史館與臺灣文獻館等檔案機構之數位館藏內容、詮釋資料（metadata）格式、影像掃描規格、資料庫建置過程與數位影像之開放分享，最終彙整各館檔案數位化工作過程與特色，並提出檔案數位化工作發展建議。

Archives recorded the historical tracks of a nation development in which implied the intellectual outcomes of our government continuous progresses. Archive digitization not only accelerated the knowledge dissemination, but also advanced the value of archives. This paper introduced the digital procedure of archival institutions in Taiwan. The collection characteristic, metadata format, digitalization standard, establishing system and search policy of National Archives Administration, National Palace Museum, Academia Sinica, Academia Historica and Taiwan Historica are taken as examples for discussion and comparison. This paper is expected to provide impetus and suggestions for archive digitalization.
