線上檔案檢索工具層級瀏覽功能之比較分析

摘要

檔案檢索工具（finding aids）是使用者用以儲存、查找以及呈現檔案資訊的憑藉，其優劣關乎使用者查找過程的進行，如何幫助使用者順利查詢到所需的檔案，降低過程中的障礙，牽涉到許多層面，而本文意欲比較與探討線上檔案檢索工具之層級瀏覽功能（Browse by hierarchy），係因檔案層級為與產生檔案之來源下，彼此有機的連結，故藉由層級瀏覽功能可提供使用者檢索過程可瀏覽相關聯之檔案資料，進而找到需求檔案，且不致於迷失於浩瀚的檔案資料資源中。

Finding aids is the tool for storing, finding, and revealing the information of archives. Decreasing barriers in the searching process to help users retrieve archives they need involves many aspects. This article will be focused on the hierarchical browsing capabilities of online finding aids. As archive hierarchy offers the function of browsing the related archival materials, users of online finding aids will not get lost in the vast archival resources.
