夏秋季採收之番石榴葉萃取之精油功能性組成分分析

Identification of Functional Chemical Components of Essential Oil Extracted from Guava Leaves Harvested in Summer and Autumn

摘要


本研究目的以水蒸氣蒸餾法萃取夏、秋兩季之“珍珠拔”番石榴葉之精油,再以氣相層析質譜儀(Gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer, GC-MS)進行成分分析,探討其番石榴葉精油中抗淋巴癌細胞增殖作用的檸檬烯(limonene)含量變化。結果顯示,於番石榴葉之精油中鑑定出57種揮發性成分,包含主要成分檸檬烯,次要成分桉葉油醇(Eucalyptol)、丁香烯(Caryophyllene)、杜香醇(Ledol)、10,10-Dimethyl-2,6-dimethylenebicyclo-[7.2.0]undecan-5β-ol等生物活性成分。其生物活性檸檬烯成分含量以秋季高於夏季,因此有利於後續進一步生物活性探討之篩選。

The objectives of this study were to analyze the functional chemical components of the essential oil extracted from leaves of the "pearl guava" harvested in summer and autumn and to determine the effect of harvesting season on the content of limonene, a well-known functional phytochemical possessing anti-tumor proliferation activity. The essential oil was extracted by steam distillation from guava leaves and subjected to gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. Fifty-seven volatile compounds were identified in the essential oil of guava leaves, including the major biofunctional compound (limonene), and the minor components, eucalyptol, caryophyllene, ledol, and 10,10-Dimethyl-2,6-dimethylenebicyclo-[7.2.0] undecan-5β-ol. The contents of the biologically active compounds were found higher in the essential oil extracted from the guava leaves harvested in autumn, which are more conducive to the subsequent active compounds screening and nutraceuticals application.
