住院病人止痛滿意度調查

Hospitalized patient pain satisfaction survey

摘要


目的:了解住院病人止痛治療認知、態度及病人對疼痛處理的滿意度。方法:採用美國疼痛協會(American Pain Society, APS)病人結果問卷之修正版(Patient Outcome Questionnaire Modified)翻譯而成。調查對象為2017年每季最後一週全院住院病人(排除兒童、精神科、加護病房及慢性病房)。內容包括病人對止痛緩解的評估、造成的影響、處置的滿意度、疼痛的觀念。回收的資料由專人建檔輸入EXCEL進行資料分析。結果:回收有效問卷284份。病人對疼痛處理整體止痛治療結果填答滿意以上佔85%。對護理人員疼痛處理的滿意度為92%、醫師疼痛處理的滿意度為90%;在認知方面約有70%回答正向、30%回答負向。結論:由結果顯示謢理人員向病人說明止痛的重要性,執行率達93%,整體止痛滿意度85%高於國際醫學中心82.2%。由調查結果顯示部份國人對止痛藥的誤解,仍需加強教育患者止痛藥使用的正確觀念。

Objective: To understand the cognitive, attitude and satisfaction of hospitalized patients toward pain management. Methods: A translated version of the American Pain Society Patient Outcome Questionnaire Modified was use in this study. The respondents were patients hospitalized in the last week of 2017 (excluding patients from the children's ward, psychiatry ward, intensive care unit, and chronic wards). The questionnaire content evaluates patient's assessment of pain concept, influence of and, satisfaction with the treatment, and pain relief . The data were and entered into an Excel sheet for data analysis. Results: A total of 284 valid questionnaires were collected. In terms of pain management, 85% patients were satisfied with the overall pain relief treatment results, 92% were with the nursing staff and 90% were satisfied with the physicians. Regarding cognitive attitude, approximately 70% patients gave positive responses, whereas 30% gave negative responses. Conclusion: With the caregivers' explaining significance of pain relief to patients, the implementation rate reached 93%, and overall pain relief satisfaction reach 85%, which was higher than that of the International Medical Center (82.2%). According to the survey results, some Chinese people consumed painkillers to control pain. The concept of use of painkillers must be clarified among the patients to prevent any misunderstandings.
