摘要

To explore the achievements and value of Taiwan''s cultural and creative industries, the paper analyzed the design patterns and values of Taiwan's design industry through long-term qualitative research and expert interviews. Using Going to the East Design Alliance, which is a well-known in Asia, as the target, the paper conducted three years of in-depth expert interviews, and analyzed its serial thematic design and curatorial activities. In addition, the works of 50 designers in the alliance were used to define the style and methodology of Taiwan's cultural and creative design. According to the integrated analysis of the planning process and the experience of the Going to the East Design Alliance, the following 6 aspectsc are summarized: (1)attention should be paid to the essential spirit of Taiwan's design style; (2)physical curatorial exhibitions should be combined with marketing mechanisms to achieve actual benefits; (3)curatorial exhibitions and theme names should reflect essential local characteristics; (4)the western minimalist design style does not necessarily meet local needs and should be properly revised; (5) exhibitions should be arranged in a flexible and open manner, and (6)traditional crafts should emphasize mass production and innovation to avoid falling into the pattern of works of art. The paper intends to shed light upon future creative design curations through the analysis mode of creative design exhibitions.
