This article takes the ideological and political reform of the investment course as an example to fully explore the ideological and political connotation of the investment course. In terms of teaching objectives, it is necessary to achieve professional education combined with moral education. In terms of teaching content, it incorporates patriotic education and social responsibility. Moral education elements such as education, professional ethics education, and value education realize the combination of knowledge transfer and value guidance in investment courses. The problems of the lack of integration of investment knowledge and ideological and political content in the ideological and political education of the investment course, the lack of institutional guarantees for the ideological and political education of the investment course, and the lack of innovation in teaching methods and teaching carriers were identified. The development practice path provides the basis for the further promotion and implementation of professional curriculum ideology.
