The paper presents a modeling and virtual simulation production design of an automatic gearbox assembly line using Solid works and Visual Engineering and Education (VE2) 3D simulation software. Based on the actual processing flow, the corresponding process is developed and the equipment required for processing is modeled. Creation of I/O signal interactions between each processing unit to reflect the actual line operation. The use of automatic gearbox assembly line avoids the problems of high cost and long period of onsite commissioning in the actual production process, and provides a comprehensive reference for the design and construction of the actual automatic gearbox assembly line.
