The effects of ammonium persulfate on parameters such as desorption constant, critical desorption pressure, gas saturation, initial gas release velocity and firmness coefficient of coal reservoir are discussed, which provides basic data for the application of ammonium persulfate as gel breaker in coal reservoir fracturing. Ten groups of coal samples before and after ammonium persulfate treatment were tested for isothermal adsorption, initial gas emission rate and firmness coefficient. The results show that: Ammonium persulfate can effectively reduce the limit adsorption capacity of medium and high rank coal reservoirs, improve their critical desorption pressure and gas saturation, and is conducive to the production of coalbed methane; To a certain extent, it can accelerate the desorption of coalbed methane under atmospheric pressure and improve the output efficiency of coalbed methane; After ammonium sulfate treatment, the f value of coal sample decreases comprehensively, and the larger the original F value is, the greater the decline is.
