Anhui‐style ancient architecture is one of the representative buildings in China. It has research significance not only in architecture, but also in philosophy. Huizhou architecture has made use of nature without destroying nature in terms of site selection, street space, modeling structure, material selection, and decorative arts. It can be harmoniously integrated with nature when it is taken from nature. This is to create architecture and environment, The harmonious relationship between architecture and people, architecture and society has set an example. The Hui‐style architecture was constructed under the guidance of the simple ecological philosophy of "the unity of nature and man", but it also embodies the simple concept of "the unity of nature and man". It has extremely important reference value for our current ecological civilization construction. This article analyzes the philosophical thoughts contained in the site selection, color, decoration and other aspects of the ancient residents of Huizhou, and explores the existing ecological philosophy. The natural ecological concept reflected in the ancient residential buildings in Huizhou has important reference significance for the development of today's society.
