Overview of Low Frequency Oscillation in Power System

摘要

With the continuous expansion of the power system interconnection scale, a large number of high‐gain excitation systems have been put into use, and low‐frequency oscillation has become an important factor affecting the safe and stable operation of the power system. The mechanism of low‐frequency oscillation is studied, and several common analysis methods are discussed. Finally, several measures to suppress low-frequency oscillation are introduced, and the future research and development direction is further discussed.
