Introducing magnetic elements into the A site of Ti3AlC2 can greatly improve its magnetic properties, and obtain a material with magnetic single-atom layers. In this work, a series of new MAX phases Ti3(Al, A)C2 (A=Fe, Co, Ni, Mn) solid solution were synthesized. Using X-ray diffraction (XRD), SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) and EDS (Energy Dispersive Spectrometer), the formation of Ti3(Al, A)C2 (A=Fe, Co, Ni, Mn) solid solution by high temperature solid phase synthesis was confirmed. magnetic atoms entered the A sites of Ti3AlC2 to form the magnetic monoatomic layers. In this work, a series of MAX phases with magnetic monoatomic layers was obtained, which has potential application value in the field of spintronics and current sensors.
