Load Frequency Control of Power System based on Sliding Mode and Observer

摘要

The significant penetration of renewable energy and rising demand for loads has gradually exacerbated the safe operation of interconnected power systems. In the interconnected power system, a generalized extended state observer and improved integral sliding mode control strategy is introduced to reduce the frequency deviation by controlling the governor of the generator set. A generalized extended state observer is designed to estimate disturbances from system uncertainty, load demand and wind power fluctuation to improve the robustness of the interconnected power system, and the improved integral sliding mode control alleviates the jitter of frequency deviation and parallel line power deviation. Finally, numerical simulations verify the effectiveness of the LFC scheme and reveal its advantages over the state-of-the-art.
