Mechanics Study on Common Working Conditions of LNG Storage Tank Pump Well

摘要

As an important force to achieve my country's "dual carbon" goal, natural gas consumption is increasing year by year. The construction of LNG terminals and storage tanks is developing rapidly. At present, many LNG terminals and storage tanks are under construction and have been put into operation. The pump well of the LNG storage tank is the core equipment for the work in the LNG tank, and the seismic load, water pressure and other working conditions should be considered under the operating conditions. This paper takes the 160,000 m3 LNG storage tank as the background and analyzes the allowable stress of the pump well under common working conditions based on the force report of the nozzle. The calculation results show that the maximum stress of the pump well is 186.66Mpa, which meets the design allowable stress.
